Hello, everyone.

PaulM here from Ontario, Canada.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community. I came across it while doing some due diligence regarding Cosentyx.

I am going to start my treatment on Friday, April, 07, 2017...but may change it to Saturday or Sunday as those days are a little less hectic for me.

I look forward to sharing my experience with other members here and to learn from their experiences too.

Most importantly, I look forward to serving within this community in all of the capacity that I am capable of doing while maintaining openess, honesty and integrity.

I really like the sophistication of this site and the challenges that it has to offer before even getting started. This is a good sign.

I will leave my introduction at that and browse the site to familiarize myself.

Any help/guidance that may be offered by other members regarding the use of this site will be of course be appreciated.

I thank all in advance.

Kindest Regards,

PaulM.

Hello Paul  Welcome to Psoriasis Club.

Yes we make it difficult to join and we don't hesitate to run spammers and scammers out the door, but genuine people have nothing to fear and you will be made very welcome. But our priority is to protect our members and to remain independent.

Just dive on in, you will find a friendly bunch of people using different treatments and sharing support and experiences. If you need any help finding your way around just shout out or conatact a Staff

Don't hesitate to start your own thread about your journey on Cosentyx in Prescribed Treatments For Psoriasis if you wish.

Regards.

Fred.

Hi Paul and welcome  Welcome to the club. The site is easy to join and we have few rules. But we are relentless in protecting the site and keeping it  friendly and spam free. A place we can all feel secure and able to discuss our psoriasis problems without annoying adverts popping up. Or being annoyed by spam, or requests for donations. The place is pretty unique in what the owner of the site ( Fred) has tried to achieve, keeping it updated with the latest advances in the understanding of the disease and mixed with members experiences

I look forward to reading your experience of cosentyx, as you will find we now have several members on it and in general the experiences are good. You will find the members very friendly and willing to answer questions ...

Welcome Paul, this forum is great and Fred has done a fantastic job with Jim doing his stuff makes it really good . Have a good look around and any questions you ask will be answered by people who have the problems so will be truthful ,no advertising unlike other sites and no con merchants trying to sell expensive rubbish. Most of the inmates are barmy but quite safe so jump in.

How does one reply to a response that another has graciously offered?

PaulM

You will notice in the lower right hand corner of a post that there is a "quote" button. You can click on that and it will bring up a text box with the original post showing (like I've done for this post)

It's helpful when answering someone specific so they know you are replying to their post. Hope this helps.

And Welcome glad you found your way here, this site is great and very informative!

Hi.
The ' quote' thing is there when I am not logged in but is not there when I am logged in.

Sorry for any inconveniences caused. Any assistance moving forward is appreciated.

Kindest always,

PaulM.

Hello Paul,

Good morning and welcome to Psoriasisclub.

It's really weird that the quote -knob is not there. It could be due to the fact that you did not reach the 5 posts yet, which is a signal for the forum that you are a person who comes back and gives you more possibilities to use the forum. But I never heard of it like that before.
Maybe Fred has to look into it. He's asleep now, as you are probably also, but will be awake in a few hours.

If you really want to quote right now, that is possible, but you have to be rather handy with your computer, so I think Fred is the best option. Big Grin

Have fun over here on the forum, they are all nice people. Ask anything you would like to ask, tell anything you would like to tell, we are certainly curious for your coming experiences.
It might even be good to create a thread yourself on the experiences you have and write them down. That also could be of help for yourself and others.

Cheers,
Caroline

Hello Paul,

I have just logged in with a test account and can confirm the Quote buttons are there.

*The quote is the one you use for a single post, and the multi quote is used if you want to quote more than post. This thread explains more on how they work: Using Quote's

Wait I've just had a thought.  91

Are you seeing the quote button on it's own like this?

That's how it looks whilst logged-out. If you click it the system will ask you to log-in. When you log-in you will be taken to where you can type your answer under the quoted post, so I'm wondering if that is why you say the quote button isn't there after you log-in.

I would suggest logging-in before trying to quote and see if you can see the buttons in the first image above.

If you are still having problems please let me know.

Fred.
