My 1 week update and yes there is improvement starting to feel more upbeat and optimistic about the future on Stelara.
My skins flatten, less red and have less scales. I'm really looking forward fo getting my life back! Still a long way to go but aleast any improvement is better than none.

That takes me back. Smile

Yes it's a great feeling and I found Stelara started working very quickly. I think give it a couple of months and you are going to see a great improvement.

Nice one Spotty Thumb

It does seem to take its time but you will and have noticed that your plaques have flatten.

Yes but I'm talking almost clear. And don't forget it depends on the coverage and severity. Some will get results quicker and some may not get a favourable result at all from any treatment

Don't expect too much too soon, just go with the flow and enjoy it.

Congratulations on noticing an improvement already

Stay upbeat, it seems it's working its magic on you and let's hope it continues as quickly clearing you up

But it's worth a bit of a wait to get clear .... I'll be optimistic with you  Thumb

Congrats , I have been on on Stelara for 5 years ish and when I first took it nothing happened until after the 4 week injection then it really kicked in and I was 99% clear by the first 12 week injection, fantastic stuff.

I'm only getting small improvements but it is a difference between last week and now. I've been keeping a photography journal on my phone to see the process and it looks better. I'm looking forward to my 4 week booster. So 12 weeks aye I need to hang in there!

I hope that I can be on Stelara for a long time and be effective like you. It feels good to hear good stories that it can happen.

Did you use any topicals during the first few weeks/months to help it along before Stelara kicked in or did you just mainly mositurize. I'm finding that I need to mositurise less cause I'm not as dry and flaky.

That's the main thing I noticed - even areas I thought weren't affected by P suddenly didn't need moisturising any more, and I realised it wasn't just the visible plaques but all my skin was dry.
