Even though some P has flatten and starting to fade I'm starting to see some new ones come up. Is this normal?

God just when I started to see some progress!  Wall

Spotty, you may not feel the need to mositurise like before but I would if I was you, I do.

Grab yourself some biona coconut oil and mositurise just once a day to keep your skin moist.

Once you've had your second stelara you should see a vast improvement in your P clearing quicker. Thumb

Spotty, try not to worry to much, OK ?

If you start stressing out to much you might make it worse.

Keep calm spotty, let the stelara work slowly, don't expect miracles. Thumb

Yes as GB said don't stress ,use moisturizer and just let it happen, don't forget things are changing so just relax . Stop looking and just take it as it comes.

Thanks clubbers!
I still moisturiserize but I find I don't need to as frequently I use to pack it on. I find that if my skin is dry it's more itchy so I make sure it's always moist. I think I live with a bottle of lotion next to me at hand. I use double base it's my favourite mosituriser. But was wondering whether I should use some topicals as well to help speed things up.
As for the new spots I get guttate psoriasis so I see some new ones popping up...
So ok need to relax... will do the best I can...
Relax relax relax!

Looks like you found a treatment that works for you! Excellent news. If it's already doing this in the first week, you might look at a long clearance, years of it, from what I've read about Stelera (never had it myself)

Yes Relax Relax Relax. If you get wound up about it it will take longer.

It's early doors and you still have a way to go, and the best thing you can do is to just chill out and let it do it's thing.

Yes topicals will help speed things up, but you won't know if it's the topicals or the Stelara that is doing the job. So I would say (like Grizzly) use plenty of Biona and just enjoy the ride and let Stelara do it's stuff. It will but you have to be patient, it's one of the best Bio's out there for psoriasis so give it time.

Try the [Group Specific] board to take you mind off things.  Big Grin

So my daughter just got the chicken pox today, just my luck two girls down in the house while my husband needs to look after us. I've had chicken pox before but should I be worried? Cause my immune system is down on Steelers?

I was shocked when I got it in my early 30s. My Mum said I had it when I was a kid and the doctor said I had it at a young age, so I thought I was safe visiting a friends house where the kids had it. But No, I got it and it was awful. I ended up a couple of weeks of work, and ended up with huge psoriasis plaques on my back. The marks are still there today.

I would call your dermatologist and ask their advice.
