Hi all,
Just joined the forum today. 
I'm from bonnie Scotland nearly 62 yrs old. As most of yourselves suffered from psoriasis for a long time  Huh and now have diabetes type 2 as well, how lucky am i  Confused .

Hi Davieb  Welcome to the club ....I hope you enjoy being with us we have several Scottish members....so you shouldn't have a language problem  Big Grin like you I have suffered with psoriasis long term....

I managed at last to upload some images of  my finger nails, not exactly in focus.I It helps on Imager if you activate your account oops  Blush silly me.

Nails are looking good still a way to go.....and is it the arthritis that distorted your finger ...that looks as if it was painful

Yes, when my hands first flared up in 2009 i kept working, I was using painkillers as pain management and to be honest at that time the pain wasn't severe. However when I started using Leflunomide early 2010 the swelling went down but I had already done the damage to my forefinger. The tendon above the forefinger is ok, the damage is done to the lower tendon which is causing the distortion. The only pain is the middle joint of which I had a cortizone injection a few years ago not a pleasant experience. I asked for it be amputated that was refused, they gave the option of pinning it straight but i declined that, so I just live with it.
