I wouldn't say i'm completely fatigued, like i don't want to go to sleep right now, but i'm a little bit more tired than usual.

The sooner i start this treatment the better, i really can't wait to get it going.

This waiting around is possibly worse than the psoriasis itself.

They say it yes, that fatigue is more found with people who suffer from Psoriasis, but it is no law. Myself for instance I have never found any fatigueness. I always have plenty of energy. Big Grin

I guess what i'm feeling could just be a bit of melancholy, due to sitting and waiting.

Maybe once i start treatment, i'll begin to feel a bit better?

You may find that after you inject the Stelara that for a few days you will feel a bit tired but it goes off, I think that when the P is bad then you don't get a decent night's sleep which is the reason you feel tired.

I hope so for you. You may also end up with what is described in RE: Gluten free diet could help psoriasis. Now that is a treatment, isn’t it? Big Grin
Anyway, I think just feeling better because if the medication works, does a lot to both your physical as your mental state, and no doubt you will find more energy. Thumb

I take phenergan antihistaime at night time, 10ml...takes me a little while to fall asleep, but when i do, i'm basically in a coma for 8-9 hours! So no real issues sleeping, but the nights it doesn't really work i scratch in my sleep! :(

Just another update, the P on my face has appeared to have cleared up over the last 7-8 days, just some redness, but no flakes thankfully, so no one notices at work.

My legs are the worst they've ever been, i have to take knock out stuff going to bed just so i won't scratch in my sleep.

This last couple of months, since i first saw my derm, to now has been the worst couple of months of my life, all i do is go to work, come home and be miserable because i can't do anything else with my poxy skin! :(

I really feel for you, with the night time itching. I’ve had many a sleepless night with this.

When I had a high coverage of P, my derm told me that every bit of skin with P is compromised and cannot properly do its job of regulating body temperature etc. so the more you have the harder it is for your body just to keep itself within normal parameters and this contributes to you feeling tired.
Can I ask, do your P patches have thick skin / large flakes or are they red, feel hot to the touch and fine flakes?
Also, have you tried sudocrem (out of a pot, not the tube one) at night to calm it down a bit? (Zinc).
I even used to wear cotton gloves at night when I was desperate, stuck to wrists with plasters so they didn’t come off, because if you can stop the scratching as you know it reduces the itching.
I hope you get your treatment soon..

The antihistaime i take now(phenergen) does a great job of knocking me out so i scratch minimally at night now, but trying to wake up after this stuff takes me a good hour or two, so i could really do with no taking it long term.

my patches are thick, and flakey, and when i soak in an oilatum bath it removes the thick flakes and i'm left with red raw skin which is super itchy, so i try to keep the baths to once or twice per week and just shower the other times.
