Hi Annetta,
Could very well be. It is one of the contra indications. Specifically for people with hepatitic impairment, and I read that you have had trouble with your platelet count. Now I am not a doctor, nor is my English so good that I could be sure that them both have to do with each other, but I do know that it has to do with the blood.  

So smart to go to the PCP.

Most of us here are swearing with a good virgin coconut oil. It is about the only thing that helps a bit, it moisturises, it is natural and cheap.

Where are you getting the coconut oil from?  The grocery like in the cooking oil?

I get mine from the supermarket Thumb just a good quality virgin coconut oil works for me ,you can get it from Amazon as well

I'm so sorry you're suffering, Annetta, but it's certainly not from lack of trying on your part.  You are really throwing the book at your psoriasis and I pray that you will soon find the answer for your case.  Please don't give up!  New information and new products to treat psoriasis are popping up all the time.  God bless you.
