Always smart to use the network of the persons you deal with. Makes a lot of sense. Have a good journey to Winnipeg.
Is it really so hot over there with you in Canada?
Hi Caroline,

Yes, it is a bit hot here in Manitoba, but nowhere near the heat British Columbia is facing. It is already dry and a town in the interior of BC set an all time record yesterday at 49.5 degrees. They expect today to top even that temperature, so we are lucky. They are starting to evacuate areas of BC considered to be in extreme danger of fire breaking out.

As for using the network...I totally agree. I hope it works out.

Hi Wintrman.

I'm new on this Forum an i just read your whole story. And I'm amazed at how long you and your wife have walk with all your complaints.

Not that it's any better here in the Netherlands, but if you stand up for yourself , some things are suddenly possible. At least that's my experience. After being sent away for more than 9 years (wrong diagnose and "it's psychological"), I will no longer be sent away. As you say yourself, it is your body and your right.

I will follow your story because i hope you will get the treatments which will help you and you deserve.
I wish you all the best!
Sorry if my Englisch isn't the best, but its with good and the best intention  Smile

Well, went to endocrinologist today. Shot down any hopes of getting in to see a derm earlier than Dec 15.  On the positive side, I am off insulin and put on a drug called Ozempic. Replaces insulin and only use it once a week. Woohooo!  Now to just see the rheumatologist and see what he has to say. I have an MRI on the 12th and I guess we will see what the specialists have to say.  Let's see what happens next.

Cheers

Wintrman

Agreed with KatT, there is a bit of progress, even if it is step by step.
Very annoying however that the derm appointment is so far away.

Just keep going it will happen.

The endocrinologist says that Psoriasis does help to inflame the psoriasis. However, She comeparaired it like theyy both exist but on different levels in the system. They don't combine together, but they exist on different levels. So.....now for the next step. On the 12th. Getting the MRI on the 12th.

cheers,
Winterman
