Good to hear Jim. About time people got face to face appointments, they only stopped here for the first lockdown last year. A dermatologist should see their patients as it's not just how the skin is doing, some have mental health issues too and they may not get picked up.

Good job the bonce is nothing to worry about, you must stop doing this  Doh

Post moved as requested.  Thumb

Thanks Fred for moving it for me . It was good seeing the dermatologist as I was able to have my bonce checked out, and he did do a good examination which they rarely do to see if there was anything else needing his freezing gas treatment , but all clear

Thanks Wooley it was kind of reassuring having a face to face meeting again Thumb

@KatT yes it's a shame it's not more widely available as it's a relatively safe and inexpensive drug which works Confused

Good news Jim! Thumb

@KatT - I use Taclonex which has the same ingredients as Enstilar. I prefer the gel but currently have the cream. Just something you might want to check and see if it's available in Canada. Works well but since it has steroids in it I don't use often.

Thanks Kat.  I believe we do have Enstilar but not sure I want to give it a try.  I was referring to DMF.

It probably is over there with you available. In the form of Tecfidera, a medication for Multiple Sclerosis. But is probably is not being prescribed for psoriasis at your side. It is the same stuff though only many times more expensive than the version for Psoriasis.
Why? Biogen says that they have made the price conform other medication for MS. Rolleyes

Doh :  Oops should have known you meant DMF!

Yes I wish it were an option here.

Recently friends of my parents ordered medication, it was stuff called kinedine for heart problems, from Canada as it was not available here and they really needed that.
Kinedine is not a common medication for that problem, it is already old and replace by other (more expensive  Whistle) medication, but some people do bad on that new medication and do well on the old one.
This ordering went apparently rather flawlessly. Ok, it was a bit more expensive, but no trouble at all.
It appeared not at all to be difficult..

To my idea, the other way around should also be possible.
My grandmother always said: When there is a need there is always a way…  Smile
