Woohooo! I have no clue what I did, but this week I am down to 320.4 lbs. That's a weight loss of almost 4 lbs this week and a grand total of 45 lbs. 95 more to hit my ultimate goal.

I'm so excited! And I think I like it! ( thanks for that line Pointer Sisters)

Good job!  It's exciting to read about your progress and share the journey with you.  I'm paying attention to dietary triggers for the patches flaring up, itching more, hurting more.  I wonder if the sugar in the chocolate lasagna contributed to the increased itchiness?  I have not heard of Swerve before but now have a window open to learn about it.  Smile Thanks for sharing that tip about your turkey meatballs.

(In the last few days, I experimented with an increase in sugar after a reduction in sugar consumption over the course of a few weeks.  It does appear to worsen my itching.  It's not good for us, anyway.  I'll look into Swerve.  Thank you!)

Things that make you go hmmmm...(Song by C+C Music Factory)

I had read at one point that obesity contributes to the symptoms of psoriasis. Can't remember if obesity contributes to onset though. Anyways, given I have lost so much weight, you might think it would have an impact on flare ups. So far, on my journey, I have not noticed a difference. Could it be that I am still considered obese (no longer morbidly obese! Yay!) at 320 lbs. ? Only time will tell in my case. I am not even sure that I will know for sure as it is likely I will be using MTX long before I am considered overweight and not obese. Hopefully MTX will be the answer of my dreams! Being either totally free or at least 80 to 90% free of psoriasis. So looking forward to it.

Well, that's it for now! Thanks one and all for your endless support here. Ya'll are awesome!!!  Clap

Hi guys!

I stumbled across a piece of info and was wondering if anyone else has heard about the benefits of red clover. Along with helping increase bone density and increasing energy, it supposedly helps with psoriasis and eczema. Is this claim horse puckey? It also, according to this article I read, has 11 health benefits.

2. For

Its worth a try wintrman, I haven't heard of it's benefits although over the years I have read several articles that appear to offer hope to psoriasis sufferers but generally after the article the story dies and nothing becomes of the treatment
This one may be different
I remember years ago being sold on the idea that banana skins rubbed into psoriasis would clear it but it just made me smell like a banana

I have heard of Red Clover for the treatment of osteoporosis, heart disease, arthritis, skin disorders, cancer, respiratory problems like asthma but there appears to be a lack of hard evidence for its therapeutic value. Like all supplements it is worth being cautious as it is know to interact with some medication including methotrexate and blood thinners.

I have a rare photo of Jim after just a month of banana therapy
