I had a nipple on my elbow a few years ago - got it removed and turns out it was a cyst.

Thank you Wooley. I think that's what both doctors were thinking, they did ask if I wanted it pushed through on the urgent list but I said no as it's been there around 6 months and not changed. Yesterday I got the non urgent appointment and it's 19 May, so not long.

That's coming right up, May 19.  Does that elbow nipple itch very much?

Yes the time is going too fast these days.

No it doesn't itch, I can feel it when I put my wooley cardi on but not needing that so much now it's warming up.

How did your May 19 appointment go?  Was this bump removed or left alone?  Did you find out what it is?

Hello FW it went well it was fascinating, she made a cut above like this ^ then around the nipple and finished below with a v. Then she burned the inside, put dissolving stitches in and finished with normal stitches to pull the skin together.

Mrs Fred changed the dressing once a day and after 10 days the nurse came to the house to remove the 6 stitches. It's healing up nicely but I have to put a dressing on if I go out in the sun for the next 2 weeks.

As for the results, I haven't heard anything so that is good news as she said my dermatologist would be in touch if she needed to see me.

Smile

Update: I have just received and email from the doctor that removed it and the results say it is benign and she doesn't need to see me again. Thumb

Great news Fred that the nipple was successfully removed and was a benign growth and nothing to worry about
Were you able to watch what was being done or were you under anesthetics , Confused
