Been waiting to update after the fourth loading dose taken last Saturday the 18th.

I felt things going a bit downhill before the shots, I had noticed some pain coming back and also got a bit of folliculitis (one of the side effects) but I'm pleased to say the folliculitis is getting better as is the psoriatic pain.

Not much else to report apart from waking up with nausea some nights, it doesn't seem to be related to Bimzelx but I will keep a note here for future reference.

Psoriasis score: Can go down from 2 to 1.

Psoriatic arthritis score: I would have put it up from 1 to 2 on Saturday, but I think I can leave it at 1 for now as it seems to be going down again.

One more loading dose in 4 weeks before going to 2 shots every 8 weeks, but I'm starting to think I may need it every 4 weeks.

Dermatology appointment mid May.

That keeps on looking good Fred.
And indeed, the 4 weeks seem to be necessary for you if I read your words well. But if that is possible than that is ok.
Hope that this biologic will be able to stay with you for a very long long time.

It’s all looking good, do you think they would adjust the dose interval if you request it?

Thank you both. Smile

They can go to every 4 weeks instead of 8 weeks for patients over 100k I'm 97k, but they have given me double doses before of other bio's so I will see at my next appointment in May.

I'm really glad this is working for you.  Do you have a pretty good relationship with the prescribing doctor?

I would rather drink Merlot it has more calories than water and I wouldn't need so many glasses.  Big Grin

Yes I have a very good relationship with my dermatologist, we have been together well over ten years. I once told her to chill out and choose the patients she got on with when she got promoted, luckily I was one of those patients and today she is the top dermatologist at the university hospital that I use.

She also knows about Psoriasis Club and has even told her students in the past to give us a look ............................ Oh I better be careful as she may be reading this.

Yes we get on very well.

I used to have permission to put posters in the waiting room about Psoriasis Club, but when they moved to the newer part of the hospital they stopped allowing posters or leaflets.

But yes they could be talking about Caroline right this minute for all we know. I don't know if any of the students have ever registered here, but they wouldn't need to to read the psoriasis boards.

So pleased that Bimzelx is still working for you Fred and from what you are posting it seems as if you will need 4 weekly doses to keep everything at bay  . I'm pleased it's possible to increase the dose rather than have to move on again. Does it have to be either 8 or 4 weeks can they do in-between  like 5 or 6 weekly ?

But whatever the dose long may it keep working for you  Thumb
