Yes it's great, nice low dose and virtually clear....I was clear until I dropped the dose too low to two tablets a day and I had a little flare I've been up to three for about a month and I'm slowly clearing again although I only had a couple of small plaques in my hair, one on small spot on my right leg and a small spot on my elbow

So No nothing in the middle of the day
Just one tablet with breakfast and two with an evening meal they are working fine

Hi Joana,
Being a bit warmer is correct. The energy cycle of your cells are now switching to a somewhat higher gear. E.g. I never have cold hands anymore.

Me too am taking the medication twice a day, morning and evening. Although it might not be relevant due to the slow release, I found out that it still works better.

Hello!

Is it safe to drink some alcohol? Do you feel worse? I have a friends b-day party tonight... In Psorinovo leaflet itself says no wine but whiskey is not forbidden?

Caroline? Are you taking 240 mg morning and 360 mg evening?
My thoughts - maybe it is better even 1 big dose than split during the day?
IF it works I might want to try...
So far nothing special happens, I feel a little flatter dots, however my face is being attacked awfully...
good evening to all!

As Caroline is not on line at the moment.... I will tell you about me and Fumaderm
I drink alcohol in moderation Rolleyes I like my wine, beer , and gin but never overdo it these days but it has not affected me in the slightest...... I do think I read somewhere about not red wine something in the grape skins but I even drink this
Hope you have a great night and have a drink Big Grin

Hello Joana, good morning.
The leaflet is an advice. But there is no problem drinking alcohol. The advice concerns more the diet. Not drinking red wine may have a positive effect. (So I mostly drink white Smile )
I do it the other way around 360 in the morning 240 in the evening.
You can try to take it all at once, no problem, it is slow release anyway.

If you have no problems, then you can continue increasing, with me I had to increase to 7, to feel it starting.
The flushes give an indication that it is at least doing something.

Caroline

H Ladybug,

I have found taking larger doses to be more effective. In my case I went from a 360 mg dose twice daily to a 600 mg dose once every other day. Recently I changed the dosage to 800 mg every third day. Be aware however that the dosage of DMF is often able to be reduced as the disease is controlled, so I cannot be certain that a combined dose is more effective per se. But be careful as it is a powerful drug.

Cheers,

Bill

Hello everyone!

Today is my 35th day with Psorinovo.

I was quite desperate and I raised and changed some doses up to 120mg in the morning and 240mg in the evening. It was just too much for me, especially on my face.

The good things - I am not sure how it goes when it works exactly. From what I saw on some pictures from the website that you mentioned, I can tell that most of my skin changes are now bigger but flatter. My skin was mostly harder and more popcorn-like structure, now I would tell it is a little lighter and flatter. However it spreads more wide in my opinion. I will take photos soon, as now not much to compare I think, to notice enough difference in the pics.

How did you notice positive changes for the first time? How would you describe the process of clearing when it started?

I have question, does Psorinovo get state refund in the Netherlands? Or everyone just pays regular price?

good day for everyone!
J.

Hi Joane
Well you have increased your dose and have not mentioned any adverse effects. So it's very positive you seem to be tolerating it well.

With me with fumaderm was slow to move my psoriasis and I honestly can't remember the timescale but I do remember wondering if it would ever clear and then one day I seemed to stop producing scales and the skin smoothed and the redness turned pink and faded
I wish I could remember the detail but sadly I just remember the relief when it worked

Re the other things I think Caroline will have to answer those as she is on psorinovo
Good luck
Jim

Another good reason for members to start their own thread on Psoriasis Club, you would have been able to look back and find out. pcs

Exactly Fred and if I had been a member three years ago I would have had a record.... Sadly it's only just over a year since I found the club.
