Blush thanks for coming back, and thank you for listening I can ramble on a bit, we are all friends here and will always try to help each other.

Hi Jiml, well finally some good news.My insurance company has approved Embrel for me.I am waiting for the Drug Company to call me as to where to send the Embril to.I will get my 1st couple shots at my Rhemmy's Office then they will teach me how to self inject.I was at the Dermotologists this morning and my psorosis is a full breakout. She ordered me some creams, ointments.I have been so miserable the past few weeks with the itching.I hope and pray this works for me.Keeping fingers crossed. One of the problems was they had my birthday wrong.I'll let you know how everything works out.I heard it takes a few months before i see improvements. That's ok by me.Nothing ventured nothing gained.Five

You may be pleasantly surprised at how quick it will start to work.

Have a look here for some tips: Biological Treatments For Psoriasis

And good luck with it. Smile

Hi Glenda,

It's been a struggle but you hung in there and got what you needed. I hope Humira helps u and gives you relief soon.

Been following u along for awhile. I am waiting for Apremilast for PSA RA. also waiting for another bio drug called XIAFLEX for Dupuytrens Contracture. It's made from bacteria found in soil and well poop ...

Nice to hear it all worked out for you.

Glenda,

The most important steps are made. Do keep us updated. With Tanlou we see very good results with humira, hopefully that also works for you.

Strange that you don't seem to digest your food well. Makes sense to try to find out why, but will not be a nice investigation I fear. Keep strong !! Bigarm

Oh Glenda a mixture there of good and not so good news
First the good news yay you're getting your Enbrel at last..... I do hope it works quickly for you its surprising sometimes how fast they work. It will be interesting to see your updates.... I will watch with great interest

I'm sure you will have no problem with self administering not that I've done it, but Fred says there's nothing to it and you will be shown how to do it ..... Good luck

The not so good bit I'm sorry you have been sick for a while but at least you are being monitored and tested by the hospital. I hate hospitals but they do a good job when needed, unfortunately as I've got older I need them more and more.
Your test sounds not to bad but will probably take the best part of a day waiting for the egg to get into your system, and then the x Rays but at least you will know afterwards if anything is wrong and take the right steps to put it right.....
I know you are not looking forward to it but it's a necessary step to take let's keep fingers crossed it's just an infection or something simple

I will be thinking of you with fingers crossed Bigarm
