My Psoriasis friends was doing so good on Enbrel 50 mg injector pen my skin is clearing so nicely. Now I may have to stop it due to extremely high liver counts don't know what is actually causing it. I am so hoping it's not the Enbrel. I am to stay off for a couple weeks then do blood work on Fri. something always going on, can't win. But I will sort it out and get back on track. I was in the Hospital for 5 days and have some new medical issues, I have a disease called gastro peresis in which my stomach isn't digesting the food I eat correctly. I have been looking on line for good foods for my diet. I have to eat 6 small meals a day so as not to overload my stomach.I also have ulcers and Barrets Esophagus high red and white blood cells. I am so thankful for this group they give me encouragement when I am down on myself. Will let you know what my new game plan is.

Glenda I'm so glad you are back from the hospital mixed news though, but at least you know what you are dealing with and should be able to get on track again.
I hope it's not the Enbrell messing with your liver count, but time will tell, if it is they will get you back on something else. And you know you have your pals on here to encourage you along the way
It's good to have you back among us Bigarm

That's a shame Glenda, but best to get to the bottom if it to know for sure. And like Jim said let's hope it's not the Enbrel, but if it is then there are other options.

Thanks Fred for the help I am new at this and I really appreciate any help!!! Bigarm
I am still on Enbrel but while I was in the Hospital the end of March I was off of it for about 5weeks due to extremely high liver count. I have started back on it and keeping track of my liver count's.I am getting ready to take a shot in a few minutes the have to get blood work next week and see if it goes back up again,if it does I have to stop taking it. I'll know more after my blood tests. Fingers crossed. Clap

Thanks my Friend yes it has cleared up my psoriasis all but on the back of my thighs I keep putting steroid cream there and bathing in my sea salt at least 3 times a week.I need to get back to my tanning as it help dry it up.I only stay in the tanning bed for about 8 minutes don't want to get skin cancer. My dermatologist said 8 minutes won't hurt me,my psoriatic arthritis is stable.I have a hard time making a fist with my right hand I keep trying. My gastro-paresis is a bugger though. I am really trying hard to follow my diet.I haven't lost any weight but I think it's due to my under-active thyroid,I took blood work for it plus my potassium and waiting to get results. They may have to adjust my synthroid which I am taking 25 mg right now. It's like I can't get ahead with all my diseases. But I will never give up I shall over come. I've just read all this, I hope you can stay on Enbrel as your skin looks so much better. Smile As to the sunbed, I'm sure it'll be ok if your derm is happy.

Hi Glenda!  It seems that Enbrel is working for you?  Is you PsA better also?  I am sorry to hear about the Remicade reaction you had.  I am going to the doctor tomorrow to get my 4th Remicade infusion.  So far no hives and my pain level has eased as well.
