Hi everyone! I'm *****. It's good to be here.

I was just diagnosed 13 months ago with having Palmoplantar Pustulosis, or PPP. It's a form of Pustular Psoriasis which affects the palms of the hands and soles/sides of the feet. I have just recently gone into remission after being drastically affected for a year straight. It made it hard to even open or close my hands, or do something simple like walking. I never thought I would be dealing with something like this. There is no family history and before PPP, I was perfectly healthy - worked out two times per day, ate all organic, and had quit smoking a year prior.

After extensive research, I believe smoking played a huge role in my PPP.

I write for Yahoo! and have written two articles pertaining to my Psoriasis and how it affected my life. Maybe you could have a look at them, and hopefully they might inspire you to not give up and never lose hope.

(See my profile for my article links; unfortunately it won't let me post them in here)

If you have any questions or would like to tell me your story, or even just have someone to listen or be a shoulder, I'm here. I don't want anyone to suffer alone like I had.

Be blessed everyone, and have a WONDERFUL week. It's good to be here.

Hello Welcome to Psoriasis Club

You may be interested in Brighteyes thread, she has it too. Back Into Hell

I'm sorry but we don't allow links on Psoriasis Club, I have also checked the links in your profile and will have to remove them as your article on Yahoo promotes another website which is against our policies.

Regards.

Fred.

Wow, what a welcoming forum.

I was honestly just trying to offer help and support through my own experiences, that's all.

I will go elsewhere where I can actually share things I have written to try to help people. I didnt ask for money or anything bad, I was only trying to share my story which had articles.

Good day. And goodbye.

Hello ***** you may well have been trying to offer help and support through your experiences and you are welcome to post them here, but joining and making two posts straight away to attract our readers to your articles does come across as a bit like spam, and like I said to you here and in the PM I sent, it is not our policy to allow links to other websites especially those that in turn have links promoting other Psoriasis websites. We pay for Psoriasis Club out of our own pockets, and we are not doing it for the benefit of larger websites with huge amounts of money behind them.

We are self funded at Psoriasis Club and do not accept any form of sponsorship or donations. We have had many problems in the past with people joining just to get a link to their website, we have aslo had some who have even tried hard to stop Psoriasis Club existing and that is why we have made those decisions.

If you read the sign up agreement it states "You agree your account can not be deleted without exceptional circumstances." This is to stop us getting penalised by Google for to many 404 Page Not Found results. I'm sorry but I can see no exceptional circumstances to delete your account.

I'm also very sorry if You do not like our policies which are stated in the sign up agreement and put in place with the help of some of our long term members, but they are put in place to protect the website and its members, and Psoriasis Club will always remain totally independent.

Regards.

Fred.

Hello *****,

Welcome to this forum. It really is a very nice forum with very nice people. I myself am quite a critical type of person, you can ask Fred about that. Still I find that it is good being here.
I learnt a lot and can also express my thoughts very well.
Linking to other sites is possible, but you will have to agree with the ideas of this forum. It is always possible that if others are interested in your link to send it to them in personal messages. In the mean time this means that this forum stays free from all kinds of unsolicited advertisements and so, which is very relaxing. On this forum it only concerns the thoughts we have for eachother.

Your start on this forum went a bit bad, but I assure you it is fun AND nice, and there are lots of visitors that can learn from your experience and your help.
So I would plead to you to give it another try.

Yours,
Caroline

Btw... It is very easy to find your publications on yahoo.  Smile
