I would prefer it kept in English, as we are an English speaking forum.

Or at least an English translation on the same post.

New information that came to my knowledge today.

1) The general manager of the Pharmacy Mierlo-Hout in the Netherlands, the pharmacy that makes the Psorinovo, has suddenly passed away at an age of 55 last 10th of november. I am thankful for his achievements and may he rest in peace.

2) The combination preparate of DMF, I mean the combination of DMF and MEF, it came to my knowledge has two disadvantages.
1. The Monoethylfumarate does nothing against psoriasis, so it is totally superfluous
2. The Monoehtylfumarate can cause kidney damage. This last conclusion was already know in the early eighties. Also the German researchers have picked this up and publicized it. STILL nothing has been done with it. So... if you use it, keep a strong eye on your creatinine-level.

Thanks Caroline I think you mean my treatment, without naming it Thumb

I will keep an eye on all my levels and ask for urine test in future to monitor my creatinine levels

It makes you wonder why the Furaderm formula cannot be altered to reflect the current knowledge. It would be a shame were the health of patients being compromised by a recalcitrant bureaucracy.

55 if too young, but we dont get a say in these things.

@Jim indeed Tongue Keep an eye on it...

@Bill It is not only bureaucracy, it is also about losing ones face. There are doctors involved that are too stubborn to mention. They have such an ego, that they sometimes only work for that ego instead of the patients.
