Hello jiml. Thank you for your warm welcome. I hope to be an active contributor over the coming days/weeks, and I loom forward to reading the forum member's comments. I have quite scaly psoriasis on my forearms and thigh at the moment, so am dreading shorts and t shirt weather. I'm hoping to go to the GP soon and start some form of treatment to reduce the scaling.
Anyway, thank you again.
I will post an introduction later....off to work now.
Cheers.

Hi ! I am back ( been away visiting family etc ) I am now on the maintenance phase of my course which basically means I have an injection every two weeks and am assessed each month. Currently I have been assessed ( yesterday ) as having 2% coverage ( three very small spots of plaque one on each hand and one on my scalp ) for me that means I continue to be CLEAR, I am definitely looking forward to the better weather.

Sounds Very promising and could mean it may be available for me to continue with it beyond the trial.

Yes it's looking like things are moving fast which is good for us the people with psoriasis. My own treatment Stelara looks like getting left behind as Cosentyx and Ixekizumab could be the future.

It also looks like it could soon be the death for Remicade, Humira, and Enbrel. This is good news for us too as they will have to work on something better to compete.

The future for psoriasis patients is looking good and it's Bio. (That comment may not please all, but I'm a fan of the Bio treatments as it's given me my life back)

More good news Tom: Taltz (ixekizumab) gets FDA approval for Psoriasis

It's getting nearer to you being able to continue. Thumb

Since when is 2% coverage "clear"? Does that mean "almost clear" means a coverage greater than 2%? Is this classification designed by drug marketers? I dont even have enough psoriasis for a victory salute, yet I dont consider myself to be "clear". I do however have enough psoriasis to cover my rude finger. How would this be defined?
