Hello everyone. Started my first week on Cosentyx and so far no side effects that I know of. I have read up on people complaining of fatgue and/or having the runs, so far none of that has happened. I am a 5 year sufferer of moderate Plaque psoriasis and found out not to long ago that it runs on my mothers side. I always knew my mother has it but did not realize my grandmother had it as well. It started with me when I was 35 years old, just came out of nowhere. I have tried the natural route and very strict diets as well as many different creams. I tried the following with little or temporary results:
Astellas Protopic Ointment 0.1%
Fougera Triamcinolone Acetonide 0.1%
Halobetasol Ointment 0.05%
Taclonex (calcipotriene and betamethasone dipropionate Topical suspension 0.064%
Taro Econazole 1% CRM
Ranbaxy Ultravate 0.05%
Taro Hydrocortisone Valerate USP 0.2%

So, I am ready to see what happens with Cosentyx. I will update my post weekly and will update the pics in 3 weeks or so. I see many of you suffer like I do and hoping I can chip in towards this great community.

Ralph

Hi Ralph and thanks for sharing your history with us and I can see from your pictures that you are certainly ready for this Cosentyx treatment .

Early yet for any improvement but the fact you are not experiencing any side effects, is good news, I will follow your journey with great interest on here

The photographic record will help you see the changes as they occur

Thank you for " chipping in" it will be a great thing for anyone contemplating the same journey to be able to follow... You can update more regularly if you feel like it.......as I suspect in 3 weeks there might be quite a big difference

Good luck Ralph I shall be following with interest.

By the way I tidied up your post as the images were a bit muddled up.

I'm not a user of photobucket myself but the way I got them to work was by taking the Direct Link and putting between the img tag like this:

No problem just give me a shout if you want changes.

Good luck with Cosentyx it's something I'm considering for the future and I keep hoping those that start come back and update. As we can only assume if they don't come back that it has worked, but it would be nice to know for definite.

Guys , I am not going anywhere. I want to be part of this community.

A couple of things I forgot to mention, I know it is very early but want to mention.

1-) I have no bruising or any issues at injection locations (legs) and it was very easy to inject the 2 pens.

2-) after 1 year the inside of my ears have NO psoriasis at all?? Just happened past few days, coincidence? Have no clue, to early to tell but sure is a welcome!

Good Morning everyone, hope you guys are doing well. Today is day 17 on Cosentzx and I am going to
give a brief update, pics will come next week to see the progress.

What has improved......
My ears are completely cleared.
The back of my ears are 95% cleared.
My scalp is 90% cleared
My face feels incredible! My nose and forehead used be like sandpaper, all butter smooth. Even my eyebrows are not dry anzmore.
My legs are clearing up and cant wait for some more time to pass.
My private parts cleared up 100%, Thank you Jesus!

So far no side affects that I know of, no brising at ejection locations. No unusual bathroom runs, no fatigue.
My legs still get itchy ometimes at night even though I stopped the coffee and started to eat healthier. and of course I am worried about side affects popping up and flare ups. I am very happy what I see so far and hoping to see more.
