Hello Sananda to Psoriasis Club.

Can I ask how you use Paraffin for psoriasis, I've never heard of it being used by anyone before.

Welcome to the club , we are all in the same boat here and you will find that everyone is very friendly . a few are barmy but harmless so have a good look around , ask any question and you will find that you will get honest answers from inmates with experience of the problem .

Hi Fred, 
I use liquid parafin to keep the skin moist and reduce flaking. I use it immediately after a shower when the skin is relatively soft and it soaks the moisture in. However, this is a greasy option, so it may cause staining on apparels. Having said that, I still prefer it as it gives me Moisturizer skin for almost 12hrs. Hope this is helpful.

Thanks for clearing up the paraffin reference .......as we burn paraffin in heaters to heat things    but have you tried coconut oil as its not as messy as liquid paraffin

Hi, we do have other uses for liquid paraffin , if you drink it you will never need worry about whether or not you get constipation .
As Jim say's try coconut oil it is very good.
