I'm Michael Pollack from beautiful Brooklyn NY and just joined today.

I've had mild plaque Psoriasis for 10 years or so.

Been to 3 Dermatologists - all prescribed steroid creams which did nothing.

I've been treating myself with topical Glycerin and Witch Hazel, topical Coal Tar
cream and topical Salicylic Acid cream.

I've been taking 3000mg Black Cumin Seed Oil orally daily (1500mg AM 1500mg PM)
daily.
I also take Ginseng daily and am drinking American Saffron (Safflower ) tea twice daily (as recommended by Edgar Cayce).

Nice to meet you all - I feel that most of you are suffering much worse than I am
as I never have more than 15 plaques on my body. All the plaques are on my arms and legs.

I hope to contribute and learn here.

PS: I am a volunteer Tour Guide in New York City - an organization called
Big Apple Greeters which gives free 'tours' of the city to visitors.
If any of you plan on visiting you can contact me to arrange a free walk
around the city with a NY native - me!

Sounds like you're well into the natural approach, not something I can do myself. You may be interested in reading or starting some threads here: Natural Treatments For Psoriasis

A free guided walk around the city of New York sounds very interesting and thanks for the offer, but don't think I will get there now. Having said that, life's to short to say never so should I ever get off my bum and want to see a big city again before I die, I will give you a shout.

Hello Michael and a big to the club. I have only been here a few months myself. I am at present virtually clear due to the treatment I am on Fumaderm
It's always good to hear what treatments work for people, and it sounds as if natural is working for you

Look forward to hearing more from you about life in New York . Thanks for the offer of a free walking tour of NY much as it sounds great I doubt if I will get there for a while. However if you are ever in England and want a tour of my fine city of Norwich give me a shout I will be pleased to guide you around.

Always nice to hear that someone not really feels he is suffering. Hopefully the psoriasis will stay that treatable with you.

Nice offer, that tour through New York, if I, or someone I know well will visit New York, I will point her/him to the possibility.
