Yes I'm pleased. But it will be a while before I'm joining you for a run.  Run

I'm not ready for running either yet. Wink
But last days are going reasonably well after a dip. I had expected a bad day after my TTIP démonstration exercise but amazingly the next day I felt nothing worse than normal. Smile

Good for you, Fred. Maybe you could hang upside down like a bat as I do? Provided you dont bust blood vessels in your head it is an efficient way to stretch. Still cannot run like you pair, but I am at least in far less pain.

Cheers,

Bill

Thank you Bill. Can I ask how you get your feet up over the beams?

"Run like a Pair" I love some of your sayings. Big Grin

I use an inversion table, Fred. I clip my feet in then raise my arms and I am upside down. Not everyone's cuppa.

Ok that's the loading dose finished. I'm now going onto the maintenance dose of 300mg every 4 weeks.

So far I'm very pleased with the way it's going and it certainly looks like Cosentyx is a lot better than Stelara for psoriatic arthritis. I know it's still early doors at the moment, but I can definitely feel a difference in my movements. The big test will be the Winter as that is usually my worst time, but for now I'm feeling good.

No problems to report, and no side effects to log.

Wow this stuff is good.  87

That is great news Fred .... after 6 years on stelara enjoying a better life , it's great that cosentyx is working even better and so quickly
There are so many good reports about this drug. It's got to be the way forward for sufferers.

I am looking forward to hearing of your experience in the coming weeks and months  Thumb

Thank you Jim.

I was amazed when I first went on to Stelara, but so far this is beating it hands down.

Wasn't going to post till next Saturday after the next shot, but thought I would add a couple of things here for future reference.

#1 I've had a bit of a head cold. However Mrs Fred has had it too and I don't seem any worse than she is with it.
#2 I've noticed the psoriatic arthritis is slightly more noticeable. It hasn't stopped me doing stuff, but it feels as if it's creeping back like it used to towards the end of my Stelara dose.
#3 What little psoriasis I have, I've noticed I seem to be scratching but there is no flaking.

But all in all still pleased, I'll do a better update next week.

All going well. Took next shot today.

Head cold has now gone, the psoriatic arthritis did get a little worse but nothing major and yesterday I spent a lot of time in the City and it was damp all day.

Psoriasis Score: Still at 2

Psoriatic arthritis score has gone up from 3 to 4

Will now see how long it takes to start acting on the psoriatic arthritis again. It will be interesting to see next month if the tail off happens again at week three, but all in all it's still better than the Stelara.

No side effects to report, and no problems with the shots.

I'm happy  Smile
