Never having been on Acetretin I would be happy with peeling hands like yours  rather than the psoriasis plaques .... as long as the skin isn't too tender...or sore I would say stick with it Thumb

Hey, short update:

Doc decided to reduce the dose from 30mg to 20mg per Day.

Peeling stopped a bit, no side effects at the moment. So it sounds all very good, hope it will continue.

Have a good weekend @all.
Philipp

Great news Philipp.....if you can get clearance, or at least to an acceptable level on the reduced dose. That will be very good
Thanks for updating Thumb

Good to hear the peeling has stopped, lets hope the reduced dose still keeps the Ps in check. I'm due to see my Dermy in a couple of weeks and will be looking to drop the dose a bit my feet are still peeling as badly as ever.

hi folks, hope you are all fine.

well, went to the derm last friday and we reduce the dose to 10mg per day because of the bad cholesterol values.

the good thing: at the moment there is no difference to the days i had 20mg per day. but i think i will have to wait one or two weeks and see what is happening then.

the other good thing is: 10 mg means less side effects :-)

feet and hand are - i would say - good. not very good but good. hope it will continue, keep your fingers crossed please.

greeting and best wishes
phil

Good news indeed Phil , if the reduced dose is giving less side effects and still working on the psoriasis ...I hope your cholesterol level gets back to normal values soon
I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope to hear soon that the lower dose is still working for you Thumb

Hi Phil
Such a shame to hear that your Cholesterol has taken a hit. This stuff can have a nasty habit of doing that. Hopefully the drop in dose won't effect your P and the side effects diminish . It looks like they are looking after you OK. The peeling does stop eventually. My hands have been clear for about 3 weeks now. My feet though are a different story. They are just starting their 4th shedding session. P almost clear so my Dermy nurse and I have come to an agreement to reducey dose to 25mg from 30mg.
Keep up the good work.  Thumb
