Psoriasis and swelling

I've only experienced swelling on my my toes, fingers and in some places like the shoulder but not on my lower legs which has always been one of the worst places for psoriasis. But the swelling I experience is down to psoriatic arthritis.

Hopefully others will know more, but psoriasis is an inflammatory problem so I'm thinking it could be because the psoriasis is worse it's swelling up under the skin and could be causing fluid retention. *But that's just me thinking.
