Yes Pingu I read it as well ....I am 70 now and got my first taste of psoriasis at 17, not a good time while all the hormones were raging, the things I wanted to do were so curtailed, dating had to be timed to summer time when I could be clear for a while ...like fred ( only I'm a wee bit older )it robbed me of the best years of my life .... it was not accepted as well in those times. I would keep myself covered no matter how hot and uncomfortable I was,  and shorts and tee shirts were a nono.Eary summer I grabbed as much sun as I could to get clear an as soon as I was clear I kept sunning myself to try to get clearance to last into the Autum months ...it was always awkward even with friends dropping scales everywhere in their houses .....I struggled through most of my adult life hiding it ....it totally changed my life when I got my current treatment, it totally changed my life for the better ...no more hiding myself, my self confidence grew and then I found this site and determined to help others suffering with psoriasis  as I had for so many years, until I found this site I knew others had psoriasis....but had never met anybody with it,  so felt isolated ..times and  attitudes and treatments of the disease have changed so much in recent years ...I hope nobody has to suffer for as long as I did without an effective treatment ...
