i do keep it in its box, but after reading your thread about the differences between dovobet and dovonex ive discovered im using it all wrong.
i do refrigerate, but i live in a country were temp' can exceed 30, so maybe thats alright.
i do also use it on my genitals (all included) and in other skin "folds" as i have reverse psoriasis. 
i have been using this awful "gel" for a good few years, which i believe is a bad idea for anything steroid related, but my doctor insists that for my case, its my best option. 
im beginning to  wonder if maybe i dont need a new doctor...

Yes you do need a new doctor. You shouldn't be using it long term and certainly not on the genital area.  

Have you seen a dermatologist? If not I would recommend you do as they are much better suited to treating you than a family doctor.

yea this is a dermatologist. guess ill have to find a new one, thanks for supporting me on that
