Hi Fragil3 that's an unfortunate problem, and must be a great worry for you, it's not a problem I have suffered but can understand you needing to get it sorted out
I was on methotrexate for around a year, and went through a lot of the side effects.... but never had that problem. I see Fred has given you links to some interesting threads.
I agree it could be something else causing the dysfunction and you should get to your doctor to get it checked.
However if that seems awkward for you, perhaps reduce the methotrexate and see if that helps
