New to psoriasis

Thank you for your replies, I should have said that my rheumatologist has tried me on methotrexate and another one (sulph) something I cannot remember. I have failed on both. I have had 3 lots of steroid injections over the last 12 months, they have now run out so to speak and I know I cannot have any more, I have just thought that perhaps this is why the psoriasis has started to show. I have an appointment with him soon. He will probably  try something else!

Hi busybee ...thanks for letting us know you have failed on systemic treatment ..as that's the case I think it would be an idea to ask for a biological drug that that can help both conditions you can read about them here Biological Treatments For Psoriasis probably the best ones are the one that Fred is on Cosentyx or Taltz both work on both psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis
