Stelara infusions

Hello Amanda, my understanding is that they use infusion only for crohns and not for psoriasis then follow with under the skin. So my thinking is although you have tried it they are going to give you the bigger dose to help with the crohns. After the one off infusion you will be on the under the skin, but I will stand corrected if I'm wrong.

Usually it's 45mg every 12 weeks and 90mg for those around the 100kg mark, The time between shots can also be played with, but I'm not sure about crohns.

Tip: If it's anything like Remicade infusion, take a good book or some music with you as it may take a while.

Thanks Fred. Unfortunately I wasn’t eligible for the infusion as I had already started the injections. I remember always taking a few magazines to the remicade infusions though
