Hi Janice,
You bumped into the Psoriasisclub members who don’t have so much positive feelings for MTX. And also i think that you better could try to start with the Dimethylfumarates first.
The advantage is that they are not toxic, certainly Skilarence isn’t, and that there is a good chance that it will work for you. It also has its side effects but these are very much less than those of MTX and the last is absolutely toxic.
Over here in the Netherlands, I’m Dutch as you might suspect, the DMF are more and more getting the preferred starting medication. It can be a long working medication without generating damage for your body.
There will be some people who do also very good on MTX, but most of them finally have to stop.
