Welcome to psoriasisclub.
You are very young, even younger than me, and yet you already have Psoriasis. That is nasty. Be careful with it. You have already found the coconut oil, i see. A great natural moisturiser.
In that sense be careful with the ointments that contain corticosteroids, they seem to help, but in the end they will thin your skin and you really don’t want that. If you can avoid it, please do. Read the story of Jim about it. The dermatologist may prescribe it, but it’s not his/hers skin otherwise they would be more sensible.
It is unpredictable what the Psoriasis will do in the long run. Maybe it will stay like it is. There seems to be a relation between stress and flare ups, so you can take that knowledge with you and stay calm.
Always good to be here at Psoriasis club, where you can get rid of stress and talk with others who have experienced the same.
