Cosentyx for psoriatic arthritis Fred's journey

Excellent news Fred. So glad that Cosentyx is still weaving it's magic. Long may it continue. 
Now forgive my ignorance but I always thought arthritis was damage to the joint faces and it was this that caused all the agro. So does Cosentyx go someway the resurfacing?

My rheumatologist just tried explaining this a bit for me.

With psoriatic arthritis the damage is done by persistent inflammation.   So the sooner treatment [less inflammation], the less damage.  

The damage from wear and tear is osteoarthritis.  

Both cause joint pain, stiffness and swelling.

I think I got all that right anyway but if not, I'm sure someone will correct me.
