Great you have an appointment. Do read threads here about the various options and let the dermatologist know that you know what treatments are available and what your preference is and be ready to discuss the options that are available
Here in the UK to my experience they work with blinkers on and start on the cheapest and slowly work through to find something that works.
I have found that they will listen though if they think you know a bit about the treatments.
