I'm glad you finally have a diagnosis but sorry for the maddening itching and pain you've experienced. It's frustrating to hear a doctor say this is due to habits, such as smoking or hygiene. That sounds dismissive. Finally, though, you have some initial treatment that is helping your skin and joint pain. I hope you can get a good dermatologist for your care. The information on this forum will make you one of the best prepared patients.
I was diagnosed this year, also, and the club has helped me in countless ways since I joined in late August. You found a good forum with useful information and wonderful members.
