I think what the nurse (or whoever) was trying point out is their is correlation between obesity and scaring in the liver. But correlations doesn't imply causality. To top it off, 25 mg isn't a sustainable dose of MTX. You'll would have needed a liver biopsy within two years anyways.

The nurse or whoever, cares more about the 'cost' rather then their patients. They should have never disclosed that information (about obesity) - it wasn't necessary.
