Obese children more likely to develop psoriasis

Interesting .. wonder if it holds any truth for adults as well. I didn't have psoriasis as a child, nor was I overweight in any way. However, I did become overweight in my 40's and obese (I hate that word, I mean the actual word... dunno why) in my 50's and it was then that I started having psoriasis. I don't think one caused the other, just seems everything else is tied to be overweight.

I know that's not true of you guys, just wondering if there was any correlation in adults.
