I was able to have a food sensitivity test done, which showed I am very sensitive to all dairy, all yeast, and several fruits and vegetables.
I know there are a lot of "influencers" out there promoting this and that, and it's very easy to get mired in the minutia.
For the time being, I'm sticking to eggs and bacon for breakfast; lunch might be sardines, tuna, hamburger. Sometimes (maybe weekly) I have an avocado. Dinner is hamburger or steak, roast, pork chops - whatever was on sale. High fat, and lots of salt.
I feel really good, my blood pressure is good, my energy is up.
My transition was very long, because I was doing an elimination diet on my own to try to pinpoint what food was causing my issues. So I really didn't get the "keto flu", there was a week or so where I felt pretty tired, but I chalked that up to healing.
I cheated the other day and had some french fries! They didn't cause any symptoms, so I'm cautiously adding a few fun foods back, that aren't on my no fly list. One at a time and wait a few days to see the effects.
I'm going to my regular doctor next week for bloodwork, we'll see what that shows. That may determine whether I stick to strictly carnivore, or go more ketovore type eating.  But I feel really healthy for the first time in many years, so that's my reason for sticking with carnivore.
Feel free to reach out , I'm no expert but I'm learning as I go and happy to help if I can  Smile

I have noticed a reaction to dairy and sugar, everytime lol. Yeast im still unsure of, as well as fruits and veggies.

What fruits and veggies do you have a sensitivity to? Are you eating butter like the typical carnivore? Or just sticking with olive oil?

Eggs are controversial in the psoriasis diet space. Some people say absolutely don't eat them. Some say its fine. Glad to hear youre eating eggs, lol.

Very glad you shared this. Its very interesting. Like you say, you see all these "influencers" and people toting the carnivore and it being good for autoimmune but i always take that with a grain of salt. But it wouldn't be the first time ive seen that psoriasis allegedly cleared up on strict carnivore.

Well im very happy to hear youre feeling so good and had great success with healing. That really is incredible.

Thank you SquidBro! I'm pretty astounded myself, in a good way. After all of the doctors and dermatologists telling me that food has no bearing on skin issues. Huh
I have tried using ghee, because theoretically the problem protein is removed, but it still doesn't work for me. So I cook with beef tallow.
I can't even imagine life without eggs! Oh how sad, that would be almost as bad as no coffee.
I was surprised by the fruits I'm sensitive to - banana, pineapple, strawberry, plum, olive. My favorites. Veggies are carrots, onion, garlic, beet, sweet potato, lettuce. Grains and nuts was a surprise too - oats! and almonds, peanuts, green peas, buckwheat, gluten and gliadin, green beans. And then baker's/brewer's yeast, and cane sugar.
This was the short list general food panel, there is a more detailed panel available.
My hope is that after a good hard reset and letting my body heal, that I can occasionally add back some of these in small portions. I do so miss sourdough bread, and cheese, and pineapple Tongue
