Higher rate of candidal colonization in patients with psoriasis

Hi Fred,

As the abstract makes no mention of the treatments being used, I dont know what to make of the article. Candida albicans is a feature of immunosuppression, so finding it in elevated levels in patients taking immunosuppressive drugs would be expected. So what were the psoriasis patients being treated with?

Hello Bill, no the abstract doesn't mention any treatments and I don't know if the full article does either. It is available for purchase, but I purchased an article once and it wasn't worth the money. Once the full article is released in probably a month or so there may be more information, but if you do want to purchase it before then let me know and I will point you in the right direction to get it.
