The gastrointestinal problems concern me, the flushes not so much (as I've heard them described here often) but I'd probably try it (if my current treatment stopped working and if it was offered, but since you all have made me smarter, I'd compare it to other treatments and weigh the odds on the side effects and success rates.)
Well then, maybe I am lucky, but I am on quite a dose, and have relatively low gastrointestinal problems. It certainly doesn't run down my pants so to say, hihi.
So from my point of view the mentioned problems are far overrated. But.... I must admit, I am the only one on a different version of DMF.
I am even luckier as the only side effects I get are flushes they are never unpleasant they just warm me from head to toe .... No gastrointestinal troubles for me
