I've never heard that before, but I did look it up out of curiosity. I read that some people with allergies and psoriasis have a difficult time, but that seems more to do with dealing with two separate medical conditions more so than one causing the other to be worse. One person (with psoriasis and allergies) who was reluctant to get a pet even said the benefits of having the pet helped with stress. I'm not sure how having a pet could have a bad effect on your skin..... maybe someone else might know something about that.
