psoriasis and pets

Has anyone with psoriasis ever been told cats can have a very bad effect on your skin?  I have never heard of such a thing from any dermatologist or physician.  I was raised with cats and dogs.

I don't think it's related to psoriasis, people could however have an allergy to cat or any pet fur. But I've never heard of any relation in problems with psoriasis and any pets myself.

Plus pets are a great stress reliever, and relieving stress is very good for psoriasis.

So I would say NO Cats can not have a bad effect on people with psoriasis.
