As far as I understand this all, I am not a microbiologist nor an expert on viruses and diseases, your presumption is that a/some virus might the trigger for a lot of diseases, including psoriasis.

I certainly don't think that would be impossible.
But for instance the case of cancer. Cells are starting to replicate themselves in an uncontrolled manner, according to the viral theory this should be due to the necessity of the virus to be able to replicate itself. As far as I know, in all the research on cancer the last years they have never found a connection to a virus or viral behavior.

With psoriasis the immune system becomes overactive. Might this be triggered by a virus? Why not should I say, that is even very normal for the immune system. But then it should be a virus that somehow is not detectable, as otherwise the immune-system should detect it and destroy it, but no it doesn't. It turns itself to itself, the character of an auto immune disease.
There must be a factor that kicks this behavior into being in such a way that it is not stoppable. This factors may be bacteria, genes, toxic materials and yes perhaps also viruses.
I don't have the impression that we can influence the chance of getting it. It is indeed bad luck. I have lived a very normal life up to now, not very much strange behavior ( Wink ) so there was no reason for me to get it, still.....

Current biologicals are aimed on the messengers in the immune system to keep them from communicating and thus preventing the expression on skin or joints.
That mitochondria are involved is very likely, otherwise it should not be possible that some medications are able to do their things.
Attacking psoriasis with e.g. broccoli is nice , perhaps it works for you, but in my case I see no effects. I live and eat quite normal and healthy with food that does not come from the large industries, but that has no influence.

What I have read of the natural approach is that it is possible to beat psoriasis but only by living a very strict regime of food.
