to the forum I have read your introduction and it seems you have been through the protocol of creams and lotions and uv treatment, you will doubtless get a lot of advice on the various treatments from members here, we are a group of sufferers and we all have our ideas of what treatment is the best, you will find us a friendly bunch, never afraid to pass on our experience to you.
You say you have been prescribed Fumaderm it's the drug I am on and have been for over three and a half years and it has truly changed my life. You say you are apprehensive mainly because of cost in Ireland . We have others from Ireland on Fumaderm and having good results
Won't acetretin be the same cost as Fumaderm ? Acetretin is a very good drug for treating psoriasis, but if there is no difference in price I would go for the Fumaderm simply because that has worked so well for me
But I can't knock acetretin because several members here use it and have got good lasting results.
But I will let others tell their story
Have a good look around the health boards you will see many threads on the various treatments available.
And feel free to join in on the off topic board where you can just follow members chat , or join in, we always make new members welcome, there are many topics there to read .
