Hi Murdo,

Welcome to the forum.

There are more people at least who use Fumaderm and Acitretin, several with good results.
The success rate of Fumaderm is about 70%.
About the side effects, they vary from person to person, so this means you can have them or you cannot.

Myself I am on Psorinovo, which holds the same active ingredient as Fumaderm, the so called dimethylfumarate. But does not have so much side effects.
