As for what causes it, we wish we knew. But Stress can start it off, it's also said it's in your genes.

This is very identical to my scalp at the moment. Its everywhere. Hmm don't think its in my family at all. It must be the stress! my dr did say something about a delay in skin problems after emotional distress. (I have recently gone on antidepressants). I wonder if this is linked. It just seems to of spread like wildfire. It started as a couple of small clumps and its now covering my entire head. Peas sound like a good idea!
My father in law has picked me up a few natural treatments, I dont know if you will know them but I have salcura shampoo, and salcura dermaspray. I'm going to start using these and see if they help. Perhaps I will see if I can pick up a more natural conditioner too, I suppose the chemicals are aggravating it.
