Well I got test results back this past friday. My doctor spent a while on phone with me for which i was thankful. I have pityriasis rubra pilaris. She says she has not seen it in 10 years. From what i read its right in there with psoriasis and even similar treatments. She called in a topical for me called triamcinolone 0.1% cream that seems to help with redness and itching. Topicort sucked ! She is giving me a choice on treatment we will discuss this weeks appointment. UV light 3 times a week or soriatane which i believe is a trade name for acitretin. She asked me to read on this drug for its side effects before I choose. Its been a nasty ride. My legs are red an skin is coming off an upper body is covered red withe little bites with flakey skin. This past week ive had an achy feeling along with itching burning sensation. I sleep alot to. Anyways, am I throwed out of the club?  I understand if so. I found a support group for PRP but no forum. Thanks everyone for checking on the thread and any kind of knowledge on the disease. Oh, it can run its coarse in 3-5 years an act like I may never had it or it can pop in and out of remission. I would like to clear up asap an then maybe backoff to a more non-invassive treatment.

Hi Yabi of course you must stay with us, the only members that get shown the door , as Caroline has said are bullies and spammers ........there are so many similarities of treatment and possibly we have members that have got PRP And have been misdiagnosed, it's an easy mistake for us or a doctor to make
I had a quick look at the support group it looks like something else you should belong to an they will know what's going on in the PRP world
