Sometimes I think medical conditions are more related than even the doctors know. It's possible that it's psoriatic arthritis, but just as possible it's rheumatoid or osteo and it could be none of those but something else entirely. But, it will take a diagnosis before you'll know for certain and that could affect the route your doctors want to go.
Waiting till February is a pain, but glad that you're set up to get in and find out for sure what is going on. Although as Jim said, you might end up being referred to yet another doctor but that's just how it can go. Wishing you the best!
