That's not good news, but perhaps a wake up call to those of us with a sedentary lifestyle that are overweight
And are likely to develop MBS  
Could it be that with psoriasis, as sufferers we tend not to get as much exercise as someone without psoriasis as its not a very " social" disease and many tend to keep themselves isolated and comfort eat.. Causing high blood pressure , obesity and the other things that cause pre diabetes or MBS

I would say you're on the right tracks.

#1 Psoriasis makes us self concious so we don't go out so much.

#2 We look for comfort from foods, alcohol, and tobacco.

#3 Exercise can be difficult especially if you have psoriatic arthritis.
