sorry to hear of your predicament it seems very unfair to reduce a treatment that is working well. I am not sure how long it will be in the U.K before we have to go down the insurance route, as our National Health service is overloaded and could soon collapse .
I wish you luck, if it was me I would fight the insurer and look around for other insurers. Do you know what the cost of your treatment is, if it is not to expensive take Fred's advice and pay for the extra treatments, which would be 2 a year .
Keep us informed and I hope the ulcer clears up soon
