Shampoo

Hi

I use Alphosyl, a Tar based shampoo prescribed by my GP (it is cheaper to buy over the counter)  - it doesn't leave a too nasty smell.

I also use Liz Earle shampoo and conditioner as it doesn't contain any Parabens or Sodium Laurly Sulphate(detergent)
This is nice to use if you are going out and don't want to smell like a Tar Pit -

I used Alphosyl shampoo years ago. I didn't know it was still available  

I still have a couple of bottles of polytar shampoo left that I used if scales started appearing in my scalp, but haven't usedl it for a while .... Just checked the expiry date 2010 I didn't realise it had been that long since I used it ( it has lauryl sulphate as an ingredient )
