It's the same for me, symmetrical. And like most of us i'm not sure why.
I have also noticed that when a small spot appears as sure as eggs are eggs it will come on the opposite side.
I'm not sure about anyone else but for me, if something happens like im worried about anything, then not straight away but a couple of weeks later I have a flare up...the only problem is when it flares it stays that way for months.
i'm pretty much covered in the stuff and it does get me down but it bothers me more that its on the top of my hands. I moisturise that much that they look like I've had them in the deep fat fryer.
